one owner made hidden file makes pictures and music hidden

So I made a folder on astro and I put some pictures in it and then I made it hidden and now my music and pictures are hidden . How do I fix this with out making the pictures unhidden please help me

Go back in Astro, find the folder, make it not hidden.

I'm confused. You made them hidden, but want to fix it, as long as they are not unhidden. My brain hurts.....

Umm no I want to make the music and pictures that are hidden for some reason unhidden. While keeping the pictures that I purposely made hidden , hidden

Make sure the pictures that you WANT hidden are in a folder that starts with a period, like

.Pictures

And the pictures you want to show up in Albums, in any folder that doesn't start with a period like

Pictures

You can use AndroZip or ASTRO or EStrongs or just mount it on your computer via USB cable and drag files around.

Beat me to it. Sepeate folders for each type. I haven't tried it yet, but this solution was used in a different thread. I deleted all my "hidden" photos when i switched phones.

I just did this on my phone. On astro my regular pics are in directory DCIM, in a subfolder named "pics". I created a new directory using astro (menu -->new directory) named it ".nudes" I then moved a photo into this directory. Now if i close astro and open albums, all pics are viewable except the one i placed in hidden folder. To view that photo you have to use astro to open it.

Ya I did that but for me none if the other pictures come up in the gallery

Ok. You've got me stumped. Maybe start a new folder, not hidden. Put a new pic in it. Then see if it shows in albums.
