So the misfortune started when I bought a Telus Milestone from local CL...
Before bought it, I tested the phone and it was working...except I did not test the wifi(so next time when you buy a phone from CL you better meet at a place where has free public wifi access). After I got home, I tried wifi. Did not work. Tried it at another location. Did not work. Tried it at school. Did not work.
Call the person. His cellphone was off...

I immediately called Telus, hoping that they will replace the phone(I believe it's just defective wifi chip. 3G data and phone works just fine). They said they need to speak with the person who bought it(Obviously it's not gonna happen and me myself don't even have a Telus account).

So now I m stuck with a defective Milestone with no extra cash to buy another one. What should I do?

Could try small fibbing like..
"I've lost the receipt!"
Telus will only replace the phone if you are under the protection plan/ owner of the phone

And, what do you mean wifi doesn't work? What exactly happens?

Everytime I connect to Wifi, it automatically disconnects. Sometime it won't even connect at all. There is never a real connection. Data never really worked based on wifi alone.

I will try to call Motorola on Monday. I ll keep it posted. Thanks for the advice:)
