Help Wifi Error Problems Continue

So I've just had the latest update for my HTC Desire HD.
I'm running Sense 3.0 version 2.35.
I was hoping this would fix my wifi error problem, sadly this has not been the case.
I downloaded Wifi Fixer which will hold the connection as long as the screen is on but as soon as it turns off for any amount of time the wifi disconnects and the only way I can reconnect is by restarting my phone.
Has anyone found a fix to the wifi error problem?
If so please help!
 
It's been a long time since I used HTC's Sense, so the keys may be slightly different, but I have to do the following:

"menu=>settings=>WIF=>menu=>advanced=>Keep WIFI on during sleep" (and I select "Always"... as I said, I am running a custom ROM, so they may be called something slightly different :)

Found it, done it. Will let you know if there's any change.
