The emulator is A+ in my book.
But also, the environment that Google has created for Eclipse is top-notch, second to none really. If you've ever used eclipse you know that it's a great program to start with.
But Google really implemented their system well, and programming for Android (after you learn all the mumbo-jumbo of the API) is seemingly automatic. Lots of things are happening the background, and lots of the things are already done for you so it's not like you're developing from the ground up, aka notepad :)

Ok.
My environment:
windows xp x86(also have a crapy ubuntu notebook if its easyer on that?)
my issues are that "out of the box" the android emulator does not work. then i looked at the android site i need to have to do somthing whit a Phat under my computer>propertys.......... don that, still doesn`t work. and the .jar file in the main map gives me an error: Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribut from
c:\(and tis is the phat ware is it)

am i overlooking somthing or just doing it wrong?
