Waterproof?

I've seen multiple videos now showing people dropping their phone in water and nothing happening so their S III, is this true..like is the phone itself waterproof and how?

Haha yeah if only I could just do that and not have to worry about my new phone possibly getting destroyed!

Well I definitely won't be dropping it in the water, but the full body skin I bought requires soapy water to apply so my phone will be getting somewhat wet. Hope nothing happens *cross fingers*
