DISCONTINUED[ROM] *HTC* Mobster Rom v2.12 - With 5x4 Rosie Launcher/Lockscreen

Special thanks to Mobstergunz For helping me get v2.12 out; he picked up my slack when i was having a crazy work week.

ALL Credit Goes to Mobstergunz for making the Fantastic MobsterROM and giving me permission to make a more "stock-ish" version.

Nice. I was planning on more or less doing what you've already done for me. But I have a question...

I got the impression that the leedroid tweeks broke the sound "stuff" like beats and the Sony apps. Do they still work on this ROM?

yes, i also heard that it breaks beats, ect. but why remove "Hide Recent Apps in Notification Bar" it's annoying lol.

Didn't remove it intentionally, it happened, when i put in leedroid tweaks, I AM NOT A DEVELOPER, I just wanted this for personal use and decided to share it.
Ii WILL look into fixing the recent apps in notification bar)
As for the beats audio, i believe it still works, it seems to create the same effect when switching to it in the music player FX. If its doesn't then please report and i will try to fix it.

Beats audio still appears to work..... Please tell me if it doesn't for you...I will try and fix

Its an easy fix since I've already made the changes just take the classes.dex from the SystemUI.apk in Mobster Rom and put it in yours

Cool thanks for the help, i'll boot into linux and do that now...

EDIT: didn't seem to work.... Trying Again.....
EDIT: will have to decompile sustemUI.apk, what version of apktool has worked for you?
EDIT: got it! 1.4.2.... Nope still can't get a build, and my linux partition is on the fritz....so i gotta do this from windows....ugh
EDIT: Got ubuntu and java w/ android sdk running again..... YAY! Time FOr some work
 
Do you know if the modified rosie files that give 5x4 launcher and drawer grids would work with this? I've really gotten used to the extra screen real estate.

I used Windows 7 and this is my personal ICS Apktool

I can't seem to get the weather app to work for "My Location." Does anyone of something I may be overlooking?

EDIT: Couldn't get mobstergunz apktool to work, errors every time...... Found this one though, seems to work....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21697311&postcount=43

EDIT: Not working yet, Nope Still Getting FC every time on the systemUI.apk after pushing it to the phone, other apktool may be hiding the errors....

EDIT: Mobstergunz apktool worked!, i had to swap out frameworks and com.htc.resources until i got a good one. (it's been a while since i've done this stuff, not since the triumph first came out.) Thanks for all your help mobstergunz!

It's because a /data partition wipe (or factory reset) will cause bootloops, you need an intact /data partition.

You could always do a /data wipe before you install the stock ROM; then just make no changes to the OS before installing this ROM. The you would essentially have a "clean" /data partition.
 
Is this rom being actively maintained? i.e. - when changes are made to the original mobster rom are they incorporated here as well?
 
Thanks for your prompt response and for reading my mind! Mobster's Rom was the first I tried when this phone came out and I thought "this would be great if only if the sense launcher was still on it". I'm glad someone was willing and able to make this happen. Look forward to a fresh flash as soon as I get a day off.
