GS3 Extended Battery

Today I just got my ONITE 4500 mAh battery and back door. The cover fits nice, it appears to be more of a light black than blue but who cares? I will report back tomorrow to see how it works. $35 shipped from amazon.

Right now I'm trying to kill it so I can cycle and get a full charge. Will let you know....

The Hyperian came - like 60% charged. Pandora, BT, Words with Friends - finally killed it - looking forward to the workout tomorrow.

The back is darker than the blurple. I'm 58 years old - and - although the phone isn't quite as slim and sexy - it is easier to handle.

I will agree. It's easier to hold! It doesn't feel like you're holding a piece of paper. KOP??? I am originally from Allentown/Quakertown!

Looking forward to a full day on this battery. Lemme know how yours makes out!

Yup - shipped out Monday - not sure if the emails about needing it by next Monday did anything - or not (I'm guessing not).

It shipped from MI - I'm guessing you'll see yours tomorrow - You can check the shipping on Amazon or USPS - I think that the USPS site has the expected delivery date.
 
Update: Yesterday I got my ONITE 4500 mAh batter and cover. I ran it down to 12% last night and charged it. By the time I'm leaving work, the stock battery was always around 40%-45%. That's being run from 5:30am to 5pm.

Today I left work with about the same usage on 73%. Cost $24 on Amazon. So using 60% a day and doubling the battery sounds just right in the 70% range to me. Highly recommend.

Will update further....
 
Got the Hyperion 4000 today. Looks like a better finish and not as rounded compared to the Q 4200 battery cover. I like this one. Charge is at 59% and will use as is to see if lasts longer than than the stock 2100. In theory, 59% should be about 2360, so SHOULD last about eight hours of fairly involved use :)

12h 43m 24s on battery

47% remaining.

if someone would tell me how to do screen captures - would be more than happy to provide pics. The screen (setting at 100%) used 49%.

So far, so good!!
 
Looking initially good for me too. Another nice thing about the back is it's not that slick and is tapered to avoid the hump effect.

press home and power at the same time for screen capture, or swipe across screen with side of your hand (must be enabled in settings\motion)
 
The Dimension limits for this filetype are 750 x 750. We were unable to resize your file so you will need to do so manually and upload it again. Your file is currently 720 x 1280.

How do I downsize the file?

this is probably not the easiest way, but i open the file in MS Paint, crop out the section i want, and save it as a jpg file

its usually within the limits

Depends on your own usage. If light to medium usage, that is about right for the stock for me, but medium to heavy usage gets me 7 to 8 hours.

Case in point, if a 4500 is getting 11 hours, that is good if the user gets 5 hours with the stock battery with similar usage.
