Don't put Evo LTE in back pocket and sit on it (can bend easily)

I had my phone in my back pocket and got in the truck and when I looked at my phone the screen was all a light green color. Was able to bend it back a little. Still works fine. Luckily my screen didn't break. Thanks gorilla glass!

yikes...i'd be so mad if my phone was bent like that. Thanks for sharing...my phone never goes in my back pocket
 
Did you just get the phone!? I learned my lesson puting my phone in any pocket, causing my car keys to scratch the screen! Before Gorilla glass era! And do plan on returning it!?

I do my best to avoid sitting on my phone, but it happens time to time. Never had these types of problems though, thankfully. Maybe because I am more ... er ... cushioned?
 
I sat on my phone once while it was in the defender getting into the car... Got lucky on that one! Lol never again
 
So there is a big stink over on the xda forum about everyone's evo 4g lte's being bent. Many didn't even realize until they get investigated it. So i was wondering if anyone of you guys/gals are having the same problem. I posted a few pics of my evo. I keep it in a defender on my hip so I didn't expect to see any curves. :) I suppose this will mostly concern people who pocket their phone. An easy way to test is to just eye it up. But I placed mine screen down on a flat surface. - Forgot to mention. The main point of the bending is where the kickstand is.

I know their is a thread where someone sat on their evo and bent it. But what I'm trying to get at here is if anyone is seeing any bending under normal use.

That's what I thought at first but most all of the people stating that their evo is bent swear that they have the phone in their front pocket and have never sat on it.

Obviously our phone is very thin. And made out of aluminum. Which Bends easy. So you have to be careful. But if the phone's are bending from normal use.. Such as being in a front pocket (which I know a lot of people do). Then a lot of people would see that as a design flaw.. I personally don't agree but that seems to be a lot of people's opinions. Personally I know this thing is made out of aluminum, and it's very thin. So i try my best to make sure that it is protected.
