Help Setting recurring tasks on calendar

I'm sorry if this has been asked before (I tried searching but couldn't quite find what I'm looking for). I am trying to figure out how to set a recurring task in the calendar. I've set a task but can't seem to find anywhere you can make it repeat, say, monthly. I had one task pass and when I went in to look at it after the fact I had the option of making it repeat but I can't seem to figure out how to do that when I actually create a task. Help! Thanks!

You can't, but you can set a recurring event.

I personally use Any.DO for tasks. By far my favourite task app out of all of the ones I've tried It supports recurring tasks.

I use gTasks; it enables you to create recurring tasks and it has a nice widget.
