nothing to do with the google phone. I've had that alias for probably 10 years. Shortened version of "The G1NGER_one" (for obvious reasons).
I've done a fair bit of J2ME in the past but have recently bought a HTC Tattoo.
Hoping to turn my Tattoo into a headphone amplifier for my bass guitars (I live in a flat and my proper amp is a little to loud). Also looking to try and include a drum machine in the app and perhaps some recording stuff.
Also hoping to write some apps to use for a motorcycle tour I'm doing later in the year. I'm hoping to record the trip (photos and video), so maybe a tool that wakes my phone up every 15min to take a photo. I think the app should be able to tell when it's in my pocket (dark picture) and therefore not save the image. Using the picture it should decide if it wants to record some video. The phone will be on a lanyard around my neck or attached to the bike. The video will obviously be accompanied by a proper video camera for action whiles not on the road.
