Root Factory Data Reset?

yeah, i have a rooted lg optimus elite. i am a former owner of the optimus v and the factory data reset was a MAJOR NO. but i was just wondering if a hard factory data reset with a rooted optimus elite would cause any hardware failures. i do not have a custom recovery flashed. i am currently waiting on a stable release.

Well first of all there is a very stable release of Cwm. But if you have the stock recovery than you have nothing to worry about!
