Receiving Pictures

I have not yet figured out how to save pics I am receiving from texts. When I click on Menu - it says - set as or details. I have looked through the manual and unable to find anything in there.

Long press on the picture and it will bring up a Save to SD Card option.

Long press doesn't appear to be doing anything - the pic just stays there under my finger any other suggestions ?

I have been trying and researching and I just can't find any info on my question regarding my saving of incoming text pictures. Help please. Tried the long press and all that comes up is an option to set as or details.

I'm wondering the same thing. I messed around with the phone for about an hour last night trying to figure it out. I've received some and been able to save but some I couldn't...Can't figure it out

Long press the text field, not on the pic icon. it will then pop-up to download and save.

If the long press isn't working for you (I don't know why it isn't because it should), you can download an app called 'save mms'. This app will let you pick and choose which pic(s) in all of your undeleted texts to save. Hope this is an option you can live with.

long press of the whole message in the list view works for me. if there is only one image attached nothing happens when long pressing on the attachment icon o just press on the message the whole message should highlight and then pop up a window.

this whole posting is a little confusing but figured it out you have to not actually touch the file in the message you have to long tap the surrounding area arround the file that already downloaded then the screen pops up about saving the file.. thank you guys for the response and thank you to the poster on this message.
