Six axis will not pair with my Note

I have an ATT Galaxy Note, and dualshock3 ps3 controller. For some reason, I just cannot seems to get my dualshock3 to pair with my note. I connected my dualshock3 to my PC and made sure my Note's MAC address was correct in the PC sixaxis tool. The dualshock3 shows up in the list of input devices in my Note, but when I press the home button on my dualshock3, the red lights just keep flashing.

please help. I tried the stock ROM, custom ICS ROM, and Jelly Bean ROM but no success...

I know this is old, but there is a tool in Google Play, you can download and see if your phone is compatible.

Yea I already tried that sixaxis compatibility tool, and my Note is compatible, but No matter what I try, my brand new dualshock3 does not pair, either via Bluetooth or OTG USB cable.
