So i have just a few questions about the eris and rooting.
1. What, exactly, is rooting? What advantages would i get by doing it (when its availiable for the 2.1 leak)?
2. From what ive gathered, is that it allows you to flash new ROMs. Would this make it so i could take the N1 ROM and flash it to my phone? Or would this not work correctly and bog down my processor?
