Help Did anyone ever find way to turn off notification lights?

I can't stand having the light flash when everything happens.

Interestingly enough, Matt (one of the Motorola Users' Forums Managers) posted a link that Motorola Mobility had posted a "Notification Light Widget" to the Google Play Store. I installed it and it works great, but it was pulled down a short time later. The only time it doesn't seem to kill the light is red flashing low battery alert.

It looks exactly like the other icons in the power control widget--toggle on, toggle off. If you keep searching the Play Store, I'm sure it'll turn up again. Not sure why they pulled it--it's working great for me.

Or you can install tasker which lets you take complete control over pretty much anything.

Back in Play Store... whew. Hated the constant blink....

I use Light Flow which lets me customize colors, flash rate. I use the sleep mode which turns off the notification led at night. I use red faster blink for missed calls. Green slower blink for Gmail. White normal blink rate for sms/mms. It has the option for solid light without blink, but I haven't tried it.

Thanks. I checked this out and thought about installing it but it seems rather nosy. It wants to read everything.
