I'd like to know how to save an image from my androids browser. which is the android 2.3.5 i thought by clicking image and holding it down it would allow me to save but it doesn't and once the image is up using the 'menu' button doesn't offer saving options.... i'm sure someone knows the answer thats y i came here. thanks in advance :) btw not familar with technology at all :)

curiosity is killing the cat...... bc i'd like to just google image search and save pics of whatever i'm looking up EX: waterfall or tigers for my wallpaper ................. btw some times when using a picture from my gallery as a wallpaper its so huge on my 'homepage' and it gives me a small option to touch pic and make the square smaller or larger before setting as wallpaper but its not totally helpful when wanting a picture to fit perfectly on my screen .....any help with that either? thanks in advance folks :)

My Burst has been updated to ICS (version 4.04) and the built in browser lets you save pictures by holding down on them until a menu pops up, and has a save image option.

If you're still on 2.3.5 you might try downloading a different browser from the play market, like Google Chrome. It gives me the same option. I don't know why Gingerbread (2.3) wouldn't have that option, but I don't have an old phone to try it on. It would be an Android thing not a Burst thing that doesn't allow you to have that option.

I'm on ICS.... ok i'm using the browser thats icon is of earth. i'm not using chrome.... so i go to search google images, for instance and type in waterfall. once those pictures load and if i click on it i get no options to do anything with it. on facebook when using the facebook app i can click on the picture and it loads and it gives me a share options and if i want it bad enough i have to txt it to myself. so i really dont have options to save images from the browser ......any other ideas?
