Root Trying to root.. Driver not installed! Help

Downloaded the Ahhpk thingy, then installed the driver in tools now it says the 'htc driver usb thing is installed' but the android phone is'nt and cant root

please tell me the solution thanks

I would advice that you run AAHK on a Ubuntu Live CD. The problems tilt are encountering are Windows driver issues.

Solution could be any number of things. First that comes to mind is that you haven't enabled USB debugging in settings/apps/development. If you want to use windows,make sure you've studied the effin manual thuroughly,and set up your pc envionment as closely as possible to the instructions.

As ral said,the process does seem to go quit a bit smoother from a Mac,or linux. Consider the ubuntu live cd if your on a windows machine.
