I am trying, but I think my kernel may be wrong (missing something or something, I am not sure). On Monday I am putting my kernel source on GitHub and hopefully PG can help me fix it.

So all we basically need for ics ROMs and ports is the ics kernel if so could one be ported or modified to work with our phone Cuz that's what you do wit just about everything (ROMs themes apps mods etc)

Unfortunately kernels are slightly different. Unless you have 2 phone that are 100% identical, a kernel cannot be reused or ported. You have to build a new one from source.

Incorrect to the infinity. Actually all you have to do is copy some needed files over to the new kernel (must be similar but doesnt have to be the same). Before you try to prove me wrong, I should let you know that I've been working on kernels for months now, and I'm a master coder as well as actually porting a kernel to the Sharp FX Plus.

Sorry but that is ViperROM not a rom for the Viper. ViperROM is a type of CM, and that build is for the EpicMTD. (SGSI). The Viper has no roms.

Well, given that you actually have the kernel source, then yes you are correct. However, if you do not have the source the person used to build from then you have to start from scratch.

Entirely possible, using the Viper or the Lucid source (since they are the same phone with a different name) ,and I am pulling up my saved configuration. It should be in your inbox soon.
