Hi,
I just bought this phone on Black Friday as an upgrade from the Optimus V. Overall, it's much better but the battery life isn't as good as I expected. It seems like when I'm away from home (and no longer on my wifi connection), the battery starts to drain like 2-3x as fast.
I have a screenshot but I'm new and can't post images. Sorry if this breaks the rules, it's:
imgur dot com slash xGIvb dot png
The first 2/3rds of the image was when I was home, the next 1/3rd was when I was at work and off the wifi.
The battery usage breakdowns are as follows:
Screen: 27%
Android OS: 15%
Device idle: 12%
Cell standby: 11%
Android system: 7%
Apps I've been using: ~10%
I have Juice Defender installed and running, I have all the power saving features in settings enabled, I constantly "swipe off" apps I'm not using, I have the screen brightness on low (about 15%) but not auto because it's way too dark on auto, I have GPS & Bluetooth off....
Any other ideas? Is it the constant on/off of the mobile signal while I'm at work that's killing it? If so, how can I fix that?
Thanks in advance.
