Root ADB/Fastboot Problem

I've been trying to get the bootloader unlocked on my Nexus 10, but I'm having a problem getting it to show up with ADB or fastboot.

This is not the first time I have had this problem. I am running Windows 7 and Ubuntu on a Lenovo IdeaPad v570, and a few months ago I was unable to get ADB to recognize my Droid 3 on either platform. Now I am having the same problem with a brand new device.

I don't really know what to try next. Any ideas?

(USB Debugging is checked)

Hi TheIcemark :ciao:

Have you tried using one of the toolkits?

Ohhh don't use the tool kits

You need the "naked" fastboot drivers for you computer to see the tablet when in fastboot ... these drivers are different from the ones need for your computer to work with ADB
These can be found by google and from Google
the tool kits (last resort IMO) will have the drivers as well

If you need more help fell free to pm me and I can walk you through whatever and your unlock

There is a link for the universal naked driver in the all things root guide. ;)

I still like skip's toolkit.:D
