New user, new phone, new android

Hi all,
Great forum. I joined the other day before getting a new HTC Desire on contract from T-Mob
I'm switching from a crappy old HTC Touch Diamond running windows, so the Desire is like a whole new experience; sleek, fast and responsive (everything the TD wasn't)

Never played with Android before but looking forward to reading/learning as much as possible.
