No screen lock while talking on the phone...??

So I understand that the hero has no proximity sensor, and so does not lock the screen while talking on the phone. So has anyone been having problems with pressing on-screen buttons with their face and stuff? Has the absence of the proximity sensor been an issue with the Hero? Thanks!

No it's not a problem. The phone will turn in to sleep mode and go black on you and nothing can be pressed. In order to wake the phone back up you can install a "shake" app or just simply press on the send button.

After using the iphone for 2 years, this feature definitely still trips me up a bit.

Oh, I meant pressing on-screen buttons. Like the touch-screen buttons. Since the screen is not locked while you talk on the phone, wouldn't your face touch the touch-screen buttons and mess up your phone call?
The screen turns off while you are in a call.
You can press any button (presumably you would want to avoid the end call button) to wake the screen and then go from there.
