USB connect

Read several posts on people not being able to connect to the PC. Well, I have right right cord, and my stuff worked yesterday. Today, off a sudden nothing. I even did a system restore to try to get it to work. No dice.

Just gives me USB device not recognized. Any ideas?

Try a different USB Port, Make sure usb debugging is enabled, make sure drivers are still installed.

Tried different ports, usb debugging is on , and drivers are installed.

Ok, tried a third USB port, Android phone was installed, BUT STILL can't mount my sd card.

USB bugging is on. I turn it off, and I am able to mount my SD card...wtf?

Ok, my computer freaked out, and it installed it, then after 2 minutes, went to unknown device. Awesome.

What OS and drivers are you installing?

What I have found to work has always been to uninstall any driver (including HTC Sync) and install PDAnet. The drivers from that have always worked for me.

Weird that HTC sync and drivers all of a sudden stopped working. Wish I knew what it was, but uninstalling them, and using teh PDAnet is working so far. I will report back if it quits as well.

Copying files is about 3x slower, give or take, but Its working, so i am not complaining.
