Stock browser and word wrap

I'm coming to S3 from an EVO, and so far have just used the stock browser.

When I pinch and enlarge a web page (like this forum, for example) so the font is big enough for me to actually read, it's not word-wrapping to fit within the screen, resulting in my having to scroll the screen from right to left.
This just isn't going to do. Is there a setting to fix that, or should I just download a different browser, and if so, which is recommended for no more word-wrap issues? The only other browser feature important to me is easy access to bookmarks.
I like how the stock browser lets me put a bookmark icon right on one of the homescreens. Would like to retain that ability.

Thanks

This problem is not from android devices but how the designer of this or any other website deals with smaller screens. Android forums is not meant to be access heavily by small screens users.

The stock browser is not that good anyways, you'd be better using Dolphin Browser, let me check the features you asked...

You can add bookmarks in two ways:
1. Click the + near the URL on the top
2. By using the empty tab screen, which show bookmarks for easy access and allows you to add new ones

You can access bookmarks easily on Dolphin Browser using the empty tab or typing a part of the url.

I came from an HTC phone and also miss the auto-word wrap function. What I did to make this better was to play with the sliders / settings in the accessiblility section of settings. I upped the minimum font size to 17pt, zoom amount on double tap to 118% and left the scale text at 100% (tried bigger but didn't like the results). Then I went to this forum and another one I frequent and now get most of the text part to fit inside the screen at a reasonably readable size when i double-tap. Or at least it's close and I can pinch it to fit.

Dolphin Browser: Dolphin Browser is

I think the OP needs to know that the stock browser on this phone doesn't text wrap regardless of whether web sites had any issue. Honestly, I've never heard of text wrap being dependent on the way a website was designed, but I'm not saying it isn't possible either. Text wrap has always been a function of the browser. Opera is probably the best at text wrap but not the best overall. I like dolphin browser as well.

Just got an S3 and this word wrap issue was annoying me too. Found the solution on some other board which is...

1) open the browser
2) touch the left menu button at the bottom of the phone and scroll to the Settings option (its the last item at the bottom of the menu)
3) select Advanced
4) Check the "Auto fit pages" option

When viewing a page you can then pinch and stretch the screen to resize the font size, then double tap the screen to get the text to wrap at the correct size.

Enjoy!

Thanks so much for this. I've had my S3 for a year and had that setting checked and kept trying the double tap but all it ever did was just zoom in or zoom out. After pinching to get the zoom level I wanted a double tap would just zoom back in. I finally gave up trying to get it to fit and just suffered through the text being too small or scrolling. They must have added this in one of the updates and I didn't even realize.

Sorry to revive the old thread but THANK YOU!!! Not having word wrap was driving me insane...
