If anybody has a Seido case/holster combo, I was hoping you could answer a few quick questions. Note that I am asking about the holster only, not the cases themselves (which are actually discussed nicely in a few of the case threads).

Right now I have this rubber case/holster combo that I got at the VZW store. One of the feature that I really like about it is that when I slide it into the holster, the phone's screen is completely covered. I don't have a screen protector on it at all, but I feel perfectly safe droppign the phone into a briefcase or pocket when it is in the holster.

Does the Seido holster fully cover the screen?

Second question, with my VZW case, even when it is in the holster, the whole setup is narrow enough that I can still slip it in the pocket of my shorts if I don't happen to have a belt on. The Seido holster looks a bit more bulky though. It is still pocketable?

On the Surface Holster, its fully covered. Also worth noting, lots of other shell and slim cases also work in the holster, although I prefer the Surface case anyway. The screen sits about 1-2mm from the screen. It's still pocketable. Btw, Best Buy sells the seido case combos for the S3 an S4 under their "PT" brand. I've owned both Seido and PT with previous phones, they are exactly the same. So, you could actually lay hands on the holster in the store. Also, they are usually only $30-35 in store. I know, crazy that something is cheaper in BB, but it is. worth noting, I've had wear on my screen protectors at the top where the phone clips in. It's from me pushing the phone in and letting the clip slide over the top. I can easily prevent that from happening.. but i dont :) I dont think it would scratch your glass, unless there was dirt being pushed too.

Best buy online had a deal, two of the platinum cases for $45. I took the printout to a local store and the price matched it by giving me one for $22.50.

Pretty good deal.

That sale is still on, btw.
