Help Flashlight Not Turning Off

The flashlight on my daughters S3 will not turn off, well it will, but only when the camera is turned on!
I have done a reset, took out the battery, but still no joy.
Does anyone have any ideas?
 
Thats strange. I dont have samsung firmware on my phone so i cant remember if it has its own inbuilt feature to use the camera flash as a flashlight?
Is it still under warranty? Maybe its a hardware problem but maybe its a software problem you could fix yourself if youre up for reflashing it (exactly what samsung would probably try first) :thumbup:

It does...it's a widget called "Assistive Light"...but it would say at the top in the notification bar that Assistive Light is on...if you pull that down you should see a light bulb, and you can tap on it to turn it off...
