Apps not found after changing SD card

Hi,

I had earlier moved few of my apps to the sd card. After sometime I changed my memory card and moved all the contents to the new one. But when I started up my phone, I found those apps are greyed out in the app view and are no longer installed. Play store says these are installed on my phone. What to do to get my apps back?

You will need to reinstall your old memory card or uninstall the apps through the play store and reinstall them.

You will need to reinstall your old memory card or uninstall the apps through the play store and reinstall them.

To expand on that, the only way to swap out SD cards and have all of the apps you had on there still work is to copy the enitre folder structure exactly like it was on the old SD card, otherwise all of the filepaths are broken.

If you have grey boxes saying they're still installed under settings>apps you'll have to clear data and force stop. Then reboot and you can reinstall from the playstore..
