Size of extended battery?

Does anyone know the size of the extended battery for the incredible?

Something along the lines of 2150maH if I recall correctly. If you're talking about physical size, we don't know yet but it should be able double the size of the existing battery

I would say it's going to be thicker hence the reason it comes with packaged with a battery door.

If I did my digging correctly, the Incredible's extended battery is the same as the Touch Pro 2. And that 2150mA battery is 8mm thick while the standard battery is 7mm.

From the information I read it will also come with a "door" meaning that it will indeed extend beyond the current back of the case, hopefully not too much. either way, the HTC Incredible is a thin phone so it won't make too much of a difference.

As far as the battery life with the standard battery, you'll get about the same as other android phones (although from what I've read it's not as great as the Droid or Nexus One). You'll get about a days use with moderate use of the smartphone features

I think decent is a subjective term. Some people may be happy to get 8 hours use out of the standard battery while others would complain. And battery life is dependent on so many different factors that it's hard to say for certain what each person will get.

If you want more juice but don't want a thicker battery, wait for Seidio to come out with their batteries. They usually have one in the 1500-1750mA range that's the exact same size as the standard battery.

Oh, I see what you're saying. I'm not 100% sure about that battery. Would be interesting to see if it fits, which I think it will. Just a guess though.

That would be nice, Seido isn't always quick to get stuff out. If there is one thing this group of users isn't, it's patient.

If this is true than why do people care about 1mm? Didn't people already determine the back will look exactly the same except the out most part will be bigger (by 1 mm apparently).

The only bad thing would be added weight (and expense).
