Root Suggestion on Rom with Most Stable Phone Dialing

Ok, I have been trying out all the roms. I really like a lot of them. The problem I am having still is a stable phone dialing experience. Sure the roms are fast and great looking.....but..I go to make a quick phone call and ....wait...wait...crash...reboot...lag...Very aggravating. So I am looking for opinions on a stable rom to run that will guarantee or at least come close to some great dialing. Maybe I am not doing something right during flashing...I dont know...suggestions welcome.

I have 0 problems with Ivan's 0.8t2.

I don't understand what everyone's gripe is. I have 700 phone contacts. No trouble at all.

Been using GrdLocks for 48 hours, and I use the phone alot for calling, and having 0 issues

Everyone's pretty much just gonna say whichever rom they are using now is the best. I've tried every single rom out there with the exception of c.r.a.p., and I can't notice a difference between any of them.

My gf on the other hand, has 2.1 non-root, and her phone is TERRIBLE at making calls. By the time the call comes up on the screen, it has already either been answered on the other end, or went to voice mail. Shes not running a task killer and has good quality apps installed, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe for once, a task killer would be a viable option for her, but all i keep hearing is how terrible they are. sorry, hope i dont highjack the thread, just trying to state everything thats relevant to the dialer issue.

LOL...No hijack worries...
2.1 Leaks has major dialer issues....I am pretty sure any taskiller wont help at all....
It is just one of those "Have to live with things" unless someone is working on 2.1 leak root...I know i am not...nut someone else might be

And Ivans ROMs are very clean and no Dialer issues
Only one I have really tried a lot other than my own roms...

Ok, so what I did was do a COMPLETE wipe and start over with what I consider a smooth and fast rom (dVanilla2.1_OCed). Looks like I may have a much smoother dialer and lag issues disappeared. We will see after I install all my apps n such. I though I did a complete wipe each time but I could of been wrong. Anyways, as of today...dialing takes only 5 secs. Thats good news for me!!
