Why can't you upload downloaded photos to Facebook?

Perhaps it's your carrier's bloatware or some other app that collides with FB, because I'm unable to reproduce the problem on my international unlocked, LTE model.

I tried just now on both of my S4s (both Int, Unlocked), on my Note 2 and and S3. All of them work great. The moment I save FB photo, it instantly appears in stock gallery in FB folder.
I can share it via MMS, mail, Whatsapp it, Beam it, share to instagram, and re upload it to FB.
Pretty much any other venue I could find, which allows share, works fine.

I suspect it's something on your end, not a generic problem.

P.S.
I did ask two friends of mine, also LTE Int. Unlocked users, to test it. Just like me, no problem downloading and sharing FB photos.

This is irritating as hell. Any way around it!?

very annoying, I posted yesterday a similar issue here: http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-s4/764975-when-i-save-send-pics-iphone-users-f-b.html

when I download a FB pic i cannot send it to any users other then droid users, any iPhone users get the text but cant see the pic

Have you guys looked into the file extension for the pictures? I've noticed that sometimes when downloading photos from Facebook, that the file extension would be photoname.jpg.large

The ".large" part really screws things up. I don't know if this is the cause of the issue you are talking about, just something I noticed that could be related.

You guys could open the photo up in a photo editing app, then save it again as a new photo. Then try sending it out. That could fix it as well.
