Root Help re-rooting old Dinc - Locked but S-off

Hoping someone can put me on the right path, as I've searched and not seen anything that exactly matches my situation.

My brother gave me his old Dinc awhile back, and I've got a friend who broke her phone and can't afford a new one. So, I'd like to root this for her before giving it to her to use. I believe my brother had rooted before, but lost it during one of the OTAs.

The bootloader shows *****LOCKED***** but also shows it's S-OFF.
It's HBoot 1.07.0000.

It's been a few years since I rooted my first Dinc, and I know I'm just forgetting something here.

I've got a recovery downloaded as well as the SU zip file. But I don't know if it's the latest versions suitable for the Dinc on Gingerbread. Or if I have to go through the whole downgrading thing again to root. I think I used Unrevoked the last time I did it for someone - but I was starting from scratch with that.

Anyone who could point me in the right direction - I'd GREATLY appreciate it (as would my friend!) Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the tip. I had found that thread previously and tried the instructions, but it wasn't recognizing the recovery file so I could install it.

It was then I decided to triple check my setup and realized I'd installed the recovery file on the root of the internal memory instead of the SD card! DOH! So, now I'm on my way (hopefully!) Thanks!
