Is this unusual, should I kill Chrome?
Sam Reverb 2Gb memory.
Downloaded Apps has 812 Mb, 1.3 Gb free
Running Apps 498Mb used, 95 Mb free.
Does this mean it has 500Mb ram?

I use phone for calls, texting, browsing net, not with Chrome, nothing else.
I see Chrome is 68Mb, VM live 10.49.
Can I get rid of these 2? Never use.

Do I have too many downloaded apps? Only ones I may have downlded are Chrome? VMlive? Samsung Push Serv?
I know I did dl Trend Mobile Security.

First smart phone, don't know what's normal.

Android is Linux, and in Linux unused RAM is wasted RAM, so never worry about an app or apps taking too much RAM. Android will keep it as filled as possible.

Storage is different. If an app that you installed is taking up storage space that you need, you should uninstall it. Don't start uninstalling apps you didn't install. Some of them may have pieces of code vital to the operation of your phone. (That would result in your posting one of those "help, what do I do now?" posts.)

Not sure if Chrome came with phone or I installed when I got notifications from Google. 68 Mb seems like a lot for one I never use. Anyone know if it was on Reverb when new? Any advantage to using it over the main browser?

Only app I'm sure I installed was Trend. Thinking abt getting their Battery saving app, forget the actual name. Some reviews say it is no good after 30day free trial expires. Anyone? Are any of the batt savers worthwhile?

Yes, Chrome comes with it. You can disable it from the app manager if you don't want to use it. I personally like it better than the stock browser though.

The best way I've found to save battery life is Greenify but you'll need root access for it. Another battery killer is wifi location services, gps uses up much less battery life. Or just disable location services altogether when you're not using them.
Connections Optimizer also eats a lot of power.
There is a list of bloatware that is safe to freeze/disable in the All Things Root section of this forum, some of them you'll be able to disable without root via the app manager but some other require root access and an app such as Titanium Backup. I definitely recommend freezing or disabling stock apps over removing them, though, you'll want them there if there are any system updates.
