Root SW Ver. 1.0.0B12

I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to root my Sequent. The only one-click methods I can find won't work. I have ?B12?, and I can't find any way to update, or do ANYTHING. I'm so frustrated! I'm ready to throw it all in a bucket of boiling oil. Please help me before I end up with an expensive paperweight. Thanks.

No, it's Boost. It's driving me crazy!

have you made sure that your adb drivers are working properly? i used junkies tool for mine. when you use junkies tool dont go into recovery just make sure you have debugging mode on and you can download from an unknown source. hook it up as a device that can communicate to windows pc or mac (MTP) and just let it sit there while you run the program off your computer.

To the best of my knowledge, Boost N861 has never had a B12. Boost ICS ROMS were B07 and B09, and our JB ROMS are B11 and B13. Sounds like your phone is one of a kind so be careful lol

It is probably worth mentioning that I have no idea if your devices are the same as all the others. These are the first 2 devices we have seen running ICS B12.

I would use the online updating tool... it should put you back to b09 and from there you should be able to update to b11 through ota... on the other hand if you flash the recovery using fastboot and flash root through recovery, there is no reason for it not to work... in the public mobile thread,
there are istructions on how to do it. Just dont flash anything from the useful information section... good luck
