what is the difference between china made note 3 and Korean made note 3

Hi,
I am from India (Maharashtra, Kolhapur). Today (24-01-2014) one of friend wants to sell me Samsung galaxy note 3.
But he clearly intimate me this mobile is made in Korea.


Then can anyone explain me what is the difference between
"china made note 3 and Korean made note 3"?


Please explain in brief with full configuration. (if its possible.)

Logic says... Samsung is South Korean, so that's where is should come from.
China is known for their reproductions.
If you desire Samsung quality, support and OTA updates from Samsung in the future, i would go for the Korean one

I'm not sure it really matters, does it? Mine was made in China, and it's an official Samsung product.

That would normally be logical, but if you look at some of the batteries (like the battery kit), that come directly from Samsung, they are made in China.

An official Samsung Note 3 manufactured for use in China will have several features either disabled or missing. For instance there is no "Play store" in China, and many Google applications (widely referred to as "Gapps") are missing or have reduced functionality.

It is possible to install a different firmware onto a Chinese Note 3 and make it work like an international version (SM-N9005), but this is not without risks and problems, and I personally wouldn't want to do this. There is a thread regarding this in the international root forum see here :
