Root Ubuntu mobile on elite?

Well since AOKP is 4.2.2 and Ubuntu touch does have a minimum of 4.2, I could attempt to port it to the Elite. No promises since the site says that ubuntu needs CM10.1 or AOSP 4.2 run.

Currently setting up the build environment in order to get started, tomorrow of monday I can take a crack at it as long as my charger plays nice. If you get anything going let me know

Alright so there's two zips involved, I know one of them is the OS itself, not sure about the other one.

OS = trusty-preinstalled-touch-armel+mako.zip
Other thing = trusty-preinstalled-touch-armhf.zip

It could be the other way around though, I'll know once I have both of them downloaded.

Edit: Ok yeah. I have no idea what the hell is going on.
Uh... yeah.
I got nothing.

The first one is a touch release for 'mako' which is the nexus 4.
The second one is a touch release for armhf devices such as the nexus 7.

I'm about to install ubuntu 14.04 on a second partition. It has updated sdk tools to help with building/porting, and I plan on making a couple apps for touch as well.

Actually building it doesn't seem to be that hard.

Multithreaded cleanup completed. May I remind folks to use the report button (

) if there is any issue in a thread that need attention instead of carrying on an argument. Life is easier for all involved.

Thank you.:)
