Is there a way of telling if a rom has a pacaged bootloader if the op doesn't state so, via a zip flash not odin, can you see in the zip if it has a bootloader packages, I saw this because on xda there's like 500 pages on each thread to roms, its crazy and I dont know what's the latest baseband ver/ bootloader number for the Sprint variants, or if they matter at all, can someone please clear this up !! I don't want a 400$ paperweight

I cant flash bootloaders because of knox ,I can't afford a brick, even with my warranty

Generally, ROMs based on AOSP or CM will not include a bootloader. ROMs based on any stock ROM from Sprint or VM may include a bootloader, but since KNOX reared its ugly head, most developers are aware of it, and should remove it. The main problem will be old stock-based ROMs that include an JB bootloader.

If you are concerned, search the thread for the ROM you want to flash. If you can't find a clear answer after searching, ask the developer of the ROM.
