Help LG Optimus F6_Removing Bloatware Manually?

sperri40

Newbie
This is my first experience with rooting and all, so I keep running into 'issues.'

Anyway, my phone is rooted thanks to Towelroot. And I expected to simply use GT's Flashable Bloatware removal tool to get rid of unwanted BS in the phone. However, for some reason I can't get it to work. When I go into recovery mode, my phone is not finding the zip file.

With that said, the next step would be to manually debloat. But again, I am clueless with this. So...can anyone tell me:

1. Which files/ apps can be safely removed?
2. How to find them?

Thanks!

Use a file explorer like ES File Explorer. Mount /system to rewritable in root options. Remove the apps on that list. Change /system to read only after done then reboott.

I have ES File Explorer and I was able to change System to RW in root options, but I don't know where to find the apps from the list.

Thanks for your reply!

So maybe the zip worked after all (I thought an error had popped up when I ran it)...

Although I still don't get why I only have so little internal storage available.

So I have debloated and it still seems that there's just not much room on my phone. I move all apps that I can to the SD card, as well as photos...so I am not sure what the issue is.
