I am running this rom & i have the HDMI cable , is there an app i need 4 playing movies ???? If so any recommendations ...........

are you talking about hdmi mirroring to your tv? if so then i'm not sure of the stock cm10.1 kernel has that functionality cooked in. you most likely will need a custom kernel. it has been a while and i'm not sure if they made one for cm10.1....i could be completely wrong. i have been long out of the loop in the og evo root community.

i know there was the HDMwIn v1.2.5 app. but that was before devs were able to cook this capability into custom kernels. and i do not know if this will work with cm10.1 either.
