Root Volume booster

Marty_Since87

Android Expert
As the tittle reads, I want to know if there is an volume booster app, zip or something I can edit in the system files to boost the volume when listening to music? it's way too low for me.

I've never listen to music on my L70 since I had my Note 2 for music, but recently the headphone port got damaged most likely do to the device getting extremely hot -___- and now I have to use my L70 which isn't a problem other then the volume being too low.

Is there an better looking Music player than google play music?

Here is a quick guide if you are on Android Lollipop, I had made a txt document copy into my Computer. But all credit goes to @zlaja84 . Thanks for this awesome guide.

"Basically:

Step 1: Download SELinux Mode Changer, because you need SELinux to be set on permissive.

Step 2: Install Busybox, V4A requires a working Busybox. (We already have busybox!)

Step 3: Go to the Developer options. Search for this option: Use NuPlayer (experimental), unclick this option, so you will use AwesomePlayer. (Very important step!)

Step 4: Install Viper4Android, I chose the super audio quality option, because I didn't notice any extra battery drain.

Step 5: Test it with your favorite music player."

Hope this helps."

...and if he's on kitkat, he just needs to install it as a regular app and then follow on-screen instructions :)

Go to About phone -> SELinux is at the bottom, if it's 'permissive' then you can continue the steps @Shahell Salvin Deo 's step, if not, download SE Linux changer that Shahell suggested. Then set it to permissive. Then continue the steps.

It won't let me do anything, -_- SELinux changer won't do anything either. I get a message saying "Looks like you do the have SELinux or it is disabled"

If your on slim lp no need for selinux changer and for 5.1.1 I'm on nameless with the exact instructions I gave you and you will need the Linux mode changer for that ROM as it is enforcing

I think you should try it with NameLessROM, As its working perfectly with it. But I will suggest you to buy the Selinux Enforcer when you switch to NameLessROM for changing Selinux mode or you will have to manually do it every time your Android starts. Cheers.

  • If you're going to use extreme beats go to recovery now and install it before installing v4a drivers.
  • Also go to developer options and tick use awesome player instead of nu

I went back to Nameless rom and tried this from XDA:
SONY WALKMAN

It's not as loud as my Note 2 use to be but it's way better than it was before. I remember flashing an zip on my GS3 to break the original volume, it was zip63 or something like that.
