Yesterday i rooted it and everything was fine. Then i've tried to install cmd boot.img with flash tool and the light of my phone turned red and it won't turn on anymore... I've tried anything and since yesterday is on charge and i've tried to download the firmware and flash it with fast tool but i get an error that the loader.sin finished with errors. I don't know what to do... At first when i connected the phone to the laptop it was saying that the s1 services drivers were missing and so i tried to download the drivers and by mistake i donwloaded sony ericcson drivers and now when i connnect the phone to the pc it does the sound but the phone won't charge and the pc recognise it as sony ericcson... Please help me

Have you used the RESET button next to the SIM tray? That might be enough to get it to power up. If so the first thing to try is to download and install PC Companion, and then see if it recognises the device and allows a "repair installation" of the firmware.

I've not rooted a Z3 myself, but my understanding (from reading this guide) is that you have to unlock the bootloader and use flashmode to install DooMLoRD's kernel (boot.img) before you can gain root by flashing SuperSU from recovery.

Yes it was a very small price. Honestly I was hopeless that they would repair it... But all they said was that they downloaded all the drivers and they flushed the firmware... Not sure what they exactly did... I didn't sleep for one day to try and fix it and they did it in 2 hours...lol I think I will never try to root my device again...

My phone has just done the same thing! Where did you take it to be repaired? because I would prefer not to have it sent off.

Glad to hear you got it fixed. I rooted mine the first they a got it, then I upgraded to Lollipop and it's working great. Though I've been doing this for ages with many phones, so I usually know how to fix things up if they ever softbrick.

How can I fix mine, it is just a blank screen and nothing happens when I hold the volume buttons or power. But when I plug it into my pc the computer does not detect the phone but the phone vibrates when I hold the power button!! Help
