Root [UnBrick Guide]LG LEON LTE - MetroPCS (LGMS345) KDZ Firmware

Every time I try to download from that website is says access denied. Interesting that they have a 10f version. Really don't know why our devices don't get over the air updates. I can't even use the unlock app to unlock my phone, it has been well over 90 days that I have had the device activated.

Okay, I'm having difficulties with my LG Leon. I'm on metroPCS with version ms34510f ? Would this guide still be applicable? I tried rooting it and now it's stuck on the metro screen and won't turn on or even go into a bootloop. I also can't get into recovery OR download mode. Help anyone?
I have tried every method to root the 10F but same, phone soft bricks, you need to reflash the kdz files.

I have a LG Leon MetroPCS with 5.1.1 LGMS345 ms34510e etc....
I was trying to root it and I used a method someone linked on another furom that was actually for the 5.0 update, however even though it said it was successful once I tried to restart the phone it just get stuck on the metro start up screen indefinitely. I want to try this method of fixing it but now its now showing up properly on the computer. It says MTP driver failed to install...device failed to start. I know the drivers are installed because it was working prior to trying to root it. I'm no longer interested in rooting and I want to at least salvage my phone. What do you recommend?

PS: I could never get Kingroot to work though everyone one online says it works perfectly for this phone

The method listed on the first page of this thread will bring your phone out of looping/soft brick . when it reboots do a system update from the phone

LG LEON LTE - MetroPCS (LGMS345) KDZ Firmware

I found a way to unbrick the Leon LTE for MetroPCS.

Standard disclaimer: This is for MetroPCS ONLY and is the MS34510D version. This guide is for people who have bricked their phone due to messing about with important files/partitions on their LG LEON LTE and found that it won't boot up and gets stuck in a boot loop. The method used in this guide should only be used as a last resort. Don't hold me responsible if this method doesn't restore your phone or makes it worse. THERE IS NO WAY TO DOWNGRADE BACK TO ver MS34510B after using this method.

Installed
LG United Mobile Driver 3.14.1
LG Flash tool 2014 (build 03/07/2014)
After flash tool installation

1. Remove the battery and put it back in.

2. Hold the Volume Up button (ONLY) while connecting to USB Cable

3. The Volume up button needs to be held until it reaches download mode

4. Open device manager and changed the LGE Mobile USB Serial port to COM 20

5. Open the Flash Tool

6. Select Type: 3GQCT

7. PhoneMode: EMERGENCY

8. KDZ : MS34510D_00.KDZ

9. Click on Normal Flash

10. Click on Clear update registry

11. Country: different country

12. Language: English

13. Click okay and wait for the LG Mobile Support tool to recognize the device. It takes a minute or two but the tool will recognize it. The software starts the extraction and re-boots at %100. You can remove USB cable, your device will boot normally, and the device is no longer stuck in a boot loop.

Well this worked for my LG MS395 that was stuck in booting into TWRP. Only thing I did different was flashed the ms395 KDZ file and followed your instructions and seems to be good now. Noobified pointed me here after giving me the info for the KDZ stuff. Thanks to all !!!

I have done this a lot of times with Samsung Galaxy S3's and 4's, but this was a first for me. I bricked my budget LG Leon from Metro PCS while trying to change KingUser to SuperSU. Without you, I would have been lost on this. LG phones are not at all like anything I have done with Samsungs. Your guide and download links worked like a charm. I tried to update my phone from day one, stock, not rooted, to the D firmware and it would not work. Using this emergency recovery worked when the phone's stock firmware and "upgrade" would not. Cheers to you buddy!!!!

Hi everyone I recently messed up lg Leon the imei was null and I was on here looking for a fix.

I found a file made to repair the same problem for a one plus one called efs backup and restore one plus one the thing is that phones mmcblk0's partitions are 10 and 12 while the Leon's is 15 and 16

Just backup the partitions by clicking backup and then open the restore file with a hex editor and where the dd commands are chang e the 10 to 15 and the 12 to 16 and run it and reboot

I have a MetroPCS LGMS345 running lollipop 5.1.1 and found this thread looking for kdz file for it. It is not bootlooping, just is not quite right. Not going to go into all of it, just some blackmarket apps got installed by someone and its probably malfunctioning due to malware. Will this be ok to flash back to stock? Have the drivers, flash utility and the firmware already in place and computer recognizes phone, just wanted to verify before continuing! Thanks for this post!
