Samsung Galaxy J3 heading to Boost and Virgin Mobile for $179

That sure is an interesting device, while crippled processor and camera wise, it gets a removable battery and sd card slot, along with 16gb of space. Also with the 720p screen the battery life will be decent too. (would think far better then a s6 for sure.)

Too bad I hate samsung becuase of my s5.

MetroPCS suffers from the same bland crap offerings, no good SOLID mid-range phones

Dirt cheap bottom of the spectrum phones -or- top of the line flagships $400+
Im still rocking the G2 from last year $179 port in price. Quad 2.3GHz, 2ram/32storage, 5.2 HD display,
3,000 mAh battery, 13MP OiS
It spoiled me bad

That is why I am confused to why lg isn't killing it Right now, they have the g3 and flex 2 at 329 for boost. And Samsung has the s5 at 500 bucks..lets compare specs

For the prices?

The G3 had over-heating issues with that quad-HD screen, and even Sprint didnt sell well with the trendy Gflex2

I LOVE the specs on the Gflex2, but not on that banana phone. I think LG over valued what it was. No other phone maker took that trend. That should tell LG something. It is rumored that the next LG flagships may have side buttons again, not on the back. LG over valued that trend, and made all theirs models cookie cutter.

But I am an LG fan still :)

I absolutely love my G3 and have never had a single issue with it. [emoji217] [emoji217] [emoji217]

Got the G3 a week ago and it is an amazing phone. Better than the G2 in every way except that price. If you could activate a Sprint G3 on Boost It would be much better since it is much cheaper.

My battery life was not quite as good at first but it seems to be getting better the last few days. With light use it is actually better than the G2. That quad core screen is the biggest battery hog by far.

Verizon Marshmallow update is already out so maybe we will get it soon when Sprint releases it.

Has anyone heard of a way to get a Nexus 6 - retail unlocked phone over to Boost?
It was an Xmas gift, they paid retail outright. Its currently on Sprint (cut your bill in half - for 2 years, no contract)
Can it be re-sku'd if it isn't on the Boost list? The LG G3 isn't on the Boost list
I would imagine that Boost/Sprint hasn't updated the list lately so that would explain why the G3 isn't listed.

Issues like what, I have heard only minor things from people with complaints. And I personally enjoyed the ui
Sorry for the double post I just wanted to update you by saying I went to 3 different Boost stores all said they couldn't Resku the G3 even though I was told by customer care that they could before I bought the device so I had to get it flashed to boost using a 4G phone so I could still get LTE cost me an extra $60 and 4 days of wait time but it still is less than buying the boost mobile branded G3.
