Google still hasn't introduced the Android equivalent of Reachability for iOS, but that doesn't mean manufacturers like Huawei aren't taking matters into their own hands. Thankfully, with ever increasing display sizes becoming the norm, EMUI on the honor 5X gives users the ability to shrink the UI of their phone by swiping the navigation bar for easier 1-handed use. Here's how you do it.

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Select One-hand UI
  3. Select One-hand layout
  4. Toggle One-hand layout on/off
With that, you'll then be able to slide your finger across the navigation bar (left or right) to position on either side of the screen. While we don't imagine you'll be using this feature frequently, it could be useful in a pinch. Say, for instance, you're holding a coffee in one of your hands or find yourself in a deep canyon with your arm stuck under a rock. You'll be thanking your lucky stars you have this feature.
