Anyone else use this battery saver, the free version is no longer supported but the pro version is and I can say for sure that the reason why I got it and originally gave it a try does indeed really work and that's cpu/gpu/kernel control/throttling, when I turn on Powersave mode my phone slows down to a creeping halt.

So I was wondering if anybody else used this, it's a really nice battery saver, with smart settings that adapt and learn your preferences.

Good catch Kolio. I didn't get a chance to look at that. (I'm at work)
The list of things the app claims it'll do for your phone is beyond ridiculous.
If the dev hadn't gone overboard on that account,I'd probably at least load it up & take a look.
However, the claims are just a bit much, akin to late-night infomercials.
Besides, there aren't too many phones released in the last year or so that really need any tweaking to this extreme.
Even the slower processor phones do decent, only limited by the components in the phone & less of a bad O/S.
Start loading up the Crapware apps & Pirated content & all bets are off.............

I may test this out. Let us know how it works Mikey.

Did you already root your G5?
No longer supported and updated as previously stated:
Updated
August 8, 2014
Version
6.1.1

Verses Pro Version 15.3.0

IDK:
This sounds a LOT like some Snake Oil from another infamous dev.....
That & it hasn't been updated in 20 months.
I'm calling 100% total B.S. on this app............
Read above and original first post... I can't help that ya call B.S. if ya can't read a thread properly, but maybe a pair of glasses could.
If it's what ya say it is, why was it featured on the XDA Portal? LoL!!

Tell these guys that...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1947559

The dev states in the thread that he's stopped supporting the free version, but ya can download the pro version and try it for a few days I think, I bought it back when I had my note edge, nice research there buddy, kudo's to you! haha

Heey all ,,after i test this app on my mothers xperia x10 (2.3.4 custom rom) and m fathers lg 2x speed (4.0.4 stock pre-rooted rom) this apps works really great up to 1,5 - 2 days
biggrin.gif

My battery problem is gone since i use this app

(i dont like battery saving apps because they draining my battery more than.before but this is really.amazing).
This app works only with root this tweaks the kernel ,wireless etc.. for each mode

OP from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...06&postcount=1
Taken from post #2 of the thread, I'm starting to doubt that you ever even read anything, furthermore, how else do ya suppose an app is supposed the control the c/gpu and kernel, magical android fairy dust? LoL:thumbsdowndroid:

Easy there fella :) Let's not get snarky.
It's my party and ah well ya know the rest... Hey hey I wear glasses, so if anything I'm making fun of myself. I just hate when people are biased with no reason except assumption, especially when it's easy to just try something and give it a shot and if they were right, all they've got to do is uninstall a app, but nope not happening there, nor was their common sense on some points of root privileges, so by knocking that off the list of what he failed to comprehend I'd then say his point is moot and invalid.:thumbsupdroid:
