LG G STYLO 2 ANNOUNCED

I see that people keep saying that it has 1.5 gigs of RAM but according to the Boost mobile site these are the specs:

LG Stylo™ 2 Specs

    • Height: 6.10"
    • Width: 3.13"

  • Battery
    • Talking Time: Up to 25 hours talk time
    • Battery Type: 3000 mAh Li-Ion Battery
    • Removable: Removable
  • Memory
    • 2GB RAM/16GB ROM
  • Processor
    • MSM8916 Processor
  • Operating System
    • Android™ 6.0 (Marshmallow)

This woulda been perfect as a true upgrade...í can think of so many possibilities:
IR, fm radio, wireless charge, usb, size/res, capacity.
I would've paid more / upgraded instantly.

I like how its an "upgrade" but basically the same as the tmo/metro original stylo variant.

No, this is the Stylus 2 Plus.

The one Boost and Cricket got was the Stylus 2. Not the same phone.

Improvements(only slight for the most part):
Fm radio
1080p, although this already dated.
3/32, dated for me(present 16gb overfilled, this w/ App2Sd, and making do w/o lots of stuff I want on phone)...even with biting the bullet on adoptive storage(a negative for several reasons) I will cram this model again and be back to square one.
Disappointments:
Screen size not larger... LG simply could've used V10 chassis(w/o secondary screen) and/or just replaced capacitative buttons w/ hardware ones.
I WOULD ACTUALLY TRADE 1080P FOR MORE SCREEN AREA.
IR missing again.
No USB Host(this should be a basic, not asking for the full newfangled shebang in this area)
Battery..."guessing" battery life will be a bit diminished. This is really a non-issue though.

I'll get this if I have to, but hoping for something else.

They need to price this one right. Not the greatest improvements but better than the Stylus 2 that came out for Boost. I'm not sure I would be jumping through hoops to get this one. I wish I had the Stylus "Note" features though.

I like Notes, though I tend to forget to retrieve the scribbles.
I'm transferring more and more work to phone / trying to ambulate w/ less gadgets(7" would be ideal), can't fathom 1/8gb anymore.
I agree about the price; and even springing for a flagship won't provide all wanted features.
Size, forget about it totally... even the Note 7 will be like 5.5".

V10 Jr. @:

Single screen only without capacitative buttons, replaced by hard buttons at very bottom.
If need be logo can be on top, further need bes would have sound grille split off & separated to sides to accommodate logo and possibly improve sound.

I'd definitely purchase that... Would be about 6-1/4" screen...

I'm going out on a limb and guessing that metro is getting the 2 plus with the 3gb of ram and the 1.4 octa core CPU. I could be wrong

That would be nice.

The GSMArena page is showing 2 or 3GB RAM. I hope Metro doesn't get the lower version. It's already getting the lower camera.

I'm only taking this guess because they are promoting it with the foilio case or whatever it's called on the website to get peoples attention. I think if it was the lower one they would just put it on the website and call it a day.

The question that now begs answering is who domestically is getting the 3/32?
Cross out CDMA's Sprint & Verizon, then T-mobile / Metro, plus ALL MVNO's... if not AT&T, then not coming to this country.
