SwiftKey keyboard fans/nonfans ... thoughts?

I was concerned at first for personal info and privacy but I have read the entire SwiftKey privacy policy and my thoughts are a bit more quelled now. It seems to me your personal info and data are only transferred to the cloud if you sign up for a SwiftKey account. If you don't create an account your pers onal info such as user names and credit card numbers are only stored locally on your device and never leave and no one can access theM,at least this is my understanding. Curious to hear your thoughts...

Swiftkey in my opinion is the best predictive keyboard out there. It is awesome being able to type a sentence by typing 2 letters and tapping through the rest.

As for privacy concerns I know they don't even guess on password fields (and occasionally some other fields which can be annoying) they also don't collect number strings. I'm satisfied with their privacy policy and don't have any reason it is anything other than they say.

I agree and have been notiCing everything you mentioned especially not predicting passwords and that's good!
I use Swiftkey on my tablet but not on my phone. It bloats up with alot of cache and then ends up lagging. Still like it but not as a daily.

I use Chrooma on my phone.
Ugh I'll have to keep an eye on this and check my cache... Thanks for the Warning

Well, that is on my phone. YMMV. Swiftkey may work very well on your phone. It works fine on my tablet but I don't type alot on my tablet.

I haven't tried swype but I do like the swipe feature on SwiftKey... No idea how they do that! Lol

To me, Swype keyboard does a better job of interpreting my writing with swipes than SwiftKey does....

back when all I did was just hunt and peck the letters, I used SwiftKey very effectively....

but, after I got converted to writing "long hand" with Swype's keyboard, I can write almost as fast with it as I can with my fingers and a pencil... actually probably faster.

Thanks for the replies everyone!
If someone would resuscitate the old Palm Graffiti with a new screen, I can use that. I have less problem with the space bar in Swiftkey.

I do have Swiftkey blocked as to info.
What do you mean? You installed it then blocked it? Doesn't that mean you can't use it? Sorry I'm confused lol
