Help Unfortunately, Print Spooler has Stopped... Android 4.4.2

Hello All,

Can anyone help me?

I own a Samsung Tab Pro 10.1 running Android 4.4.2 and every time I go to print with Google's Cloud Print, I get the "Unfortunately, Print Spooler has Stopped" error message. I did a search on the web and I found this problem has been going on for years!!! Some people said to install a old version of the Cloud Print. I tried that and it didn't work. I also cleared cache. As far as Samsung goes, I don't think they are planning any software updates for their users. I am sorry to hear that as I guess Samsung is just too interested in selling new products rather than supporting their current users. Just my two cents. As you can tell I am not too happy with Samsung and their decision to abandon the Tab Pro owners. I am not that technical, so rooting is not an option for me. So if anyone has a work around, I would love to hear it.

I am currently printing (with my Android 5.1 phone) using Google's Cloud Print to a Windows 7 laptop running Google Chrome and then to a network print server (Running XP/Prof) to an old HP LaserJet6P printer. It all works fine from my Android 5.1 phone. But the Samsung Tab Pro gets the Unfortunately, Print Spooler has Stopped error.

I hope someone has some suggestions for me.

Has your Tab been able to print before and this just problem just started to happen recently, or is it a matter where it never has been able to print?
With your Android 5.1 phone being able to work with your Laserjet 6P but your 4.4.2 Tab maybe there's an Android version issue involved.
I'd go back to the most recent version of Cloud Print and then try adding HP's eprint app and fingers crossed that might help:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hp.android.print
Also there's a HP 'Print Service Plugin' you might want to try:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hp.android.printservice
(there are Samsung specific notes in the description section)

Thank you SVIM... I never tried to print before with the Tab. I would always just print on my PC. But today, I tried to get it working. I should be able to print with the Tab. And sometimes its a pain to have to start up the PC when I have something to print on the Tab.

Thanks for your help and things to try. I do have the HP print service plugin, but it is disabled. Its something to try anyway.

Samsung printers are a total pain to get them hooked up. I have 2 of them and just tried getting both to work over wifi. I have a Motorola X Pure - it came with 6.0 and that's when the fun started about the SD card.

HP and Brother seem to work differently. HP does have drivers and works with mostly all the apps.
However, get one damn HP printer on the list of devices and you can't get rid of it. I had the small 1102, wanted a duplexor.
1102 has been off the computer for over a year and I can't get rid of it in the device manager.
