    hey guys,
so if you haveZedge Wallpapers & Ringtones downloaded to your phone, you might have gotten a warning from google's play store as being "harmful". it will then ask you to keep it and disregard the warning or uninstall the app. i got this message today and thought that was odd. i have been using zedge for years with no issues.

i double checked the app in the playstore and everything seem ok. i even had google scan my downloaded apps to check for anything bad and it came out clean. in case you do not know about google protect, you can have the play store scan your apps on your device. it is a pretty cool feature.

......so despite the warning Zedge is not harmful. apparently it was a bug that Zedge found and it seems to have been corrected.

just thought you guys should know about it.

Very odd. Same as you @ocnbrze been using it on and off for years, they did issue an update yesterday so I guess it was fixed before I was warned.

Let's be honest Play Protect does not to the greatest job; if you keep upto date with the latest news.
well i don't know......it found the zedge issue and told me to uninstall it. so it worked great for me.
