Canot flash Firmware

Hope for help

I'd try 4 files
- No pit is necessary (it's in the CSC and Odin will apply it automatically).
- Uncheck "repartition" and "f. reset time" before flashing and see if that works.

If not you'll have to extract the .pit partition from the csc.

An alternative might be to flash custom recovery, rom/root/kernel but to do so would require an unlocked bootloader as well as Developer Options and usb debugging would need to have be enabled in your previous phone system settings.

You might get better results using an older version of the Odin utility, one that's suitable for the firmware version you're using. Odin isn't the most backwards compatible utility so using the latest version on dated hardware isn't a sure thing. Go here and select the Odin version for that matches the ROM you're using:
https://www.droidviews.com/download-odin-tool-for-samsung-galaxy-devices-all-versions/
Since apparently your PIT has been been corrupted or deleted, you do need to restore your Tab's partition table when you re-flash.
https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-tab-pro/firmware/#SM-T525

(side note, it might be more revealing to just copy-and-paste the actual text from Odin than posting a fuzzy screen capture)

Many THX for your replies
I forgot to say I have also TWRP 2.8.7.0 installed.
I tried so many things that I think it will be the best to start from scratch to have a stable start?
What do you think?

Should I wipe everything?
Format ?
Factory reset ?
or what to do ?

When I leave TRPW there is the message

I wouldn't advice letting TWRP popup install root and I say this from personal experience. Magisk or SuperSu .zip, custome root kernel or follow the advice given by the developer of the custom rom is what I would advice. :)

Or should I take This from Frija:

Although @svim and I agree that SamMobil has the the correct firmware for your device, I would look to Frita as my first choice.

SamMobile is not "FREE" firmware. The old slow free downloads are a thing of the past and even way back then when they were, the super turtle slow free downloads would often end in a mismatched Md5 check sum.
Frita is "FREE" :)

THX OK
NOT letting TWRP popup install root

OK Software from Frija as in Picture above
T525XXUAOC2_T525DBTANI1_T525XXUANC1_HOME.tar.md5

Odin for Kit Kat 3_v3.09

is ready now!

Something to do in TWRP
Repair, Format, Wipe, .....?
Before flashing?

Root again? with
CF-Auto-Root-picassolte-picassoltexx-smt525.zip
When the tablet was working I rooted with magisk

Some flashing advices?

For the most part, flashing official factory firmware should be enough. However, in some cases, the old system root method su- binaries remain. As your previous root method was Magisk systemless root that shouldn't be a problem but to be safe rather than sorry , do a factory reset wipe in custom recovery.

Before you start, make a Nandroud back up of all partitions. Even a broken backup may save your device. I once had a broken back up and the efs partition saves my phone.

Swipe factory reset two or three times
Format data by typing yes
ignore su binary and/or no OS popups when going into download mode.

I prefer going from least adversive method and start with Odin 4 files.

  • BL stands for bootloader

  • AP represents the system partition (possibly stands for Android partition); under previous Odin versions, this was called "PDA"
  • CP represents your modem
  • CSC stands for Consumer Software Customization
and be very careful to place each in their correct slot via Odin.

If that works great, done deal. :)

If not :( , your left with the more risky .pit (partition information table). Flashing the .pit is dangerous, so be careful. A mistake here can leave your device without an international mobile equipment identifier (imei). Ouch!!!

Good luck and welcone to Android Forums @Max Witzker :)

TWRP is a custom Recovery. When you flash a stock Samsung ROM, this will also install the stock Samsung Recovery. You'll need to use the Odin utility again to flash TWRP. Also keep in mind there's a difference between a Recovery (boot process) and a root manager (post boot).
https://twrp.me/Devices/Samsung/

Regarding sammobile, it claims to verify the ROMs on its servers to be valid and unaltered, and obtained from manufacturers and carriers. You do need to sign up for an account with them to access archived firmware, otherwise they do intentionally limit the download bandwidth from their servers for free users. Wherever you obtain your ROMs, just be mindful of their sources. And do NOT mix and match ROMs, only flash ROMs that are for your exact model and your carrier. ROMs are not interchangeable. Every phone model has its own unique hardware configuration and every ROM contains software, drivers, and firmware that only match that phone model.

The PIT file is minuscule text file, it should be buried in the CSC of the firmware file you downloaded. More instructions here:
https://technastic.com/samsung-pit-file-download/
Stress again that the PIT file is also very version specific, like the ROM itself. Do not mix and match using a partition table from a different model phone. It needs to correspond with your model and your carrier. (i.e. -- if you tried flashing the wrong ROM previously that would be a likely reason why it's necessary to restore your phone's PIT).

The Odin message box states a problem you need to address. The partition table in your device's internal storage is either corrupted or missing. You need to restore your device's PIT file when you flash.
Now flashed the recommended Firmware from Frija:
T525XXUAOC2_T525DBTANI1_T525XXUANC1_HOME.tar.md5
with recommended Odin for Kit Kat 3_v3.09

Why is write protection enabled?

what next??

Try flashing 4 files like the image blow

If you don't have the pit then extract it from the csc and place it in the appropriate Odin slot.
