Help moving pictures help

I was wondering if there is away to move a picture I took that saved to the phone and move it to the sd card. I tried a few different thing but I don't see a way to do it.

A file explorer app like "Astro" will do it, as well as "ES file explorer" (my choice)

Both are available in the market.

You can also hook it to your PC and drag and drop it.

This is how to do it with ASTRO

1) navigate to the folder /emmc/DCIM/100MEDIA

2) Find the picture you're looking for, I think by default ASTRO has thumbnails available to make it easier.

3) Long press on the picture file to open the File Options menu and select <edit>

4) Select <Move>from the File Options menu.

5) Navigate to the folder /sdcard/<path to where you want the picture file>, (example /sdcard/my pics)

6) press the <menu> button, then <edit>

7) select paste, file moved

Does what keep the data private? Astro? Sure, all it does is move files on your phone, it doesn't send them anywhere else unless you tell it to.

Now if you have some "personal" pictures of your wife or girlfriend, better send them to me so I can see if they're safe! LOL

Move does not work on my phone only Copy does.. I'm using ASTRO is there something I'm doing wrong..

The easiest way to do it is to just plug the phone into the computer, open up your internal and SD Card drives and drag/drop from where it is to where you want it.
